It seems that the First Nation is being conned by Rio Tinto. The First Nation were approached by Rio Tinto to allow the mining of uranium, and the 2 people concerned were Jay Fredericks and Sharon Singh.

The First Nation will get royalties and benefit from numerous initiatives put to them by Rio Tinto, and after mining is over Rio Tinto will make good the rivers, lakes, and the land will return to the way it was before.

The First Nation is not being told about the need for Tailings Dams, and the tendency for waste to leach or run over into the natural environment, caused by rain, snow, sun.
